Spokane Stake Organizes Day of Service on September 13

Posted on August 30, 2025August 31, 2025

As part of the JustServe.org 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance, volunteers will join together to support the community of Elk, WA on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 8am to 2pm. Many in the community are still recovering from the 2023 Oregon Road Fire. Volunteers may go to the Riverside Meetinghouse (34221 N. Newport Highway) to receive service assignments.

To be most effective, we need tools. There is a list of tools on Sign Up Genius. However, if there is a tool that you think would be helpful that is not listed, please bring it along. To sign up to bring tools, scan the QR code or visit: https://tinyurl.com/Tools-Signup

For those unable to physically attend the service project in Elk, there will be an opportunity to participate in a supporting service project at the Spokane Stake Center (1620 E 29th Ave) on the same Saturday, from 8am to noon.

Volunteers of all ages are welcome. Families, individuals, and groups are encouraged to participate.
