Leadership

Stake Presidency

As with all stakes of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Spokane Washington Stake is presided over by a stake president with two counselors who hold the office of High Priest in the Melchizedek Priesthood. With the aid of his two counselors, the stake president has four principal responsibilities:

  1. He is the presiding high priest in the stake.
  2. He leads God’s work of salvation and exaltation in the stake.
  3. He is a common judge.
  4. He oversees records, finances, and properties.
