During a special stake meeting, held in the evening of September 6, 2025, the Spokane Stake sustained changes to ward boundaries to include as follows:
- Recognize the conclusion of Manito Ward’s 42 years of service.
- Realign the boundaries of the Spokane 1st and Spokane 2nd Wards to include the area previously encompassed within Manito Ward.
- Recognize the conclusion Moran Prairie Ward’s 33 years of service.
- Realign the boundaries of the Glenrose, Lincoln Heights, Palouse, and Spokane 6th Wards to include the area previously encompassed within Moran Prairie Ward.
- Realign the boundaries of the Lincoln Heights, Spokane 1st, and Palouse Wards.
- Change the following ward names:
- Spokane 1st to Spokane Falls
- Spokane 2nd to Palisades
- Spokane 6th to Havana Hills

Ward Leadership
Earlier in the day, members of the Manito Ward and Moran Prairie Ward expressed their thanks for the service of Bishop Rob Lichfield and Bishop Erik Condon, respectively, as their releases would become effective later in the day. Bishops Lichfield and Condon had both served five years in the calling, completing their service concurrent with the completion of the Manito and Moran Prairie Wards.
No new bishops were called as part of boundary adjustments. The bishops of the conventional wards are as listed:
