Happy Mother’s Day!
Today, we honor and celebrate all mothers—those who gave us life, those who have loved us like their own, and those who are mothers in their hearts. Your influence stretches beyond the bounds of this earth, echoing the divine love of our Heavenly Parents.
Your dedication, love, and teachings not only shape your children’s present but light their way toward a bright, promising future. We are reminded of the Savior’s tender care and endless love for each of us, which is often mirrored in the countless, selfless acts of mothers. Your example teaches us of patience, sacrifice, and unconditional love.
The love and nurturing spirit of a mother can beautifully be likened to that of the Savior’s. In Isaiah 66:13, it is said, “As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.” This verse illustrates the depth and purity of a mother’s love, akin to the comfort and peace that comes from Christ.
Remember that your role is honored beyond measure, and your influence is eternal. Just as we believe in a Heavenly Mother, a divine partner in the heavens, we know each of you reflects Her divine attributes here on earth.
On this Mother’s Day, may you feel the depth of our appreciation and the warmth of our Heavenly Father’s love for you. May you understand your divine worth and know that your efforts are seen, your sacrifices are recognized, and your love is felt by more hearts than you can possibly know.
